CANNES (20 mn à 30 mn de Thalassoleil)

Cannes will surprise you as it is an authentic Southern village with a riche and varied patrimony as well as a contemporary city focused on luxe and glamour.We advise you to start your visit with the old town called the Suquet that you access on foot walking up alleys and picturesque stairs. Do not miss : the ramparts, the Castre Museum, the sqaure tower. The view from the Suquet is amazing : you will see the whole city, the harbour, the Croisette and the Lérins islands. A the foot of the old town, get the spirit of Cannes at the Fortville market  with all its food shops surrounding it (butchers, fishmongers, bakers, wine dealers. 

Then lounge about the famous Croisette with its palace hotels, its luxory shops, its private beaches and the Palais des Festival home of the famous Cannes film festival that attracts all the famous filmstars. The « carré d’or » is the area behind the Croisette which concentrates along the rue d’Antibes many high street shops (Fnac, Zara, Swatch store, Gérard Darel, la City), and where the nightlife is the best (bars, restaurants, and nightclubs).
