Monaco (45min de Thalassoleil)

The Principality of Monaco is enclosed within 3 French cities : Cap d’ Ail, Beausoleil et Roquebrune Cap-Martin. Its main sources of income is business tourism and casinos.

Monaco is situated a few kilometers from the Italian border : Ventimiglia, San Remo, Bordighera, which are lovely towns with markets, trendy shops and traditional restaurants.

Amongst the « musts » of the Pincipality are : the Monte Carlo renowned« Carré d’or » area with the Casino, the  « Sporting d’hiver », the Café de Paris…

Many worlwide events take place in Monaco. The most famous are the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Rallye Automobile de Monte Carlo and the Monte Carlo Rolex tennis Masters Series. But there is also : the International Circus Festival, the International fireworks festival, the Herculis athletic competiton, the Iron Man Show and the International Jumping Monte-Carlo.

Monaco continues to develop the business tourism by hosting international fairs at the Grimaldi Forum such as the Monaco Travel Market for the luxory travel market, Batilux for ambitious architects, Imagina for new technologies, Sportel for tvs dedicated to sports, Ever Monaco for ecological cards, etc… 

You can visit many museums in Monaco : the oceanographical museum of Monaco, the pre-historical anthropology museum with the grotto that is located in the exotic garden, the naval museum… But also : the cathédral, the Princess Grace rose garden, the Hercules harbour, the old city and the Palace…
